i am just curious when guests start spending the night in the dream suite, will they keep some of the surrounding attractions open during the night? or will guests be stuck in the suite?

ORDDU: If Disneyland does the same thing Walt Disney World does, guests will be confined to their suite. At least that's what happens to guests in Florida while daring to spend the night inside Cinderella's Castle.

ORGOCH: Don't sound like no dream ta me! Sounds more like somebody's nightmare!

Guests will be able to walk around the park - providing they have a Guest Relations Host or Hostess with them.

I would be a very happy captive to spend the night in DL or MK. They can't just let people walk around unescorted because there is too much work going on at night. I personally would be fascinated to see some of the work that goes on in the parks after closing.

That would be cool to see every thing at night! What if you went to Downtown Disney after DL closed? Would you be able to get back on your own or would you have to have someone escort you to the castle?

Whichever park you stayed in, you will not be able to get anywhere without an escort. You wouldn't make it 50 feet from your lodgings before you were "noticed", particularly at MK, where a host or hostess "stands guard" at the only entrance/exit to your suite.

That would kinda suck. But I guess your asleep most of the time anyways. Can you stay in the castle at DL and DW?

At Disneyland, you cannot currently stay anywhere in-park. Next year, a guest suite will open in what was most recently the Disney Gallery, a suite of rooms above New Orleans Square.

At Magic Kingdom, there is a guest suite in Cinderella Castle which has been hosting Guests for a little while now.

Stays at both suites are available only as prizes in the Dreams giveaways and, as I understand, are only available to persons actually present at the parks, and only available for same-day use. The MK suite prize is, reportedly, turned down with some regularity.

Ok, thanks. why would you turn that down?
