I wwas at the park for CAndlelight last weekend and the corn dog truck was GONE. I asked a cast member and they said they had to remove itt because of the CAndlelight crowds ??? Does that make sense to anyone?

Is the truck back now?

I hope they dont replace the truck with the tamale cart like they did several years ago.

Have you seen the way the choirs get out on to Main Street for the second performance? They exit out of the big gates right behind where the corn dog truck usually sits.

The first performance the choirs start up by Small World and procede all the way through the park. The second performance the choirs only do a quick trip down Main Street, and they exit right behind the corn dog truck.

They've been moving the corn dog truck for Candlelight for at least the last decade. It happens every year, and on Monday it was put back in place.

It will now sit there until next December, when it will be moved away for the Candlelight weekend yet again.

I didn't personally see it (I wasn't looking for it), but it was listed as one of the restuarants that was open last night for the CM Christmas party.

Thanks for the clarification. I now know I need to get my corn dog fix on some other visit to Disneyland.

I was there last week and had a corndog at the truck but on the Saturday night it had been moved for Candlelight but I was told it would be back Monday. Never to mind though I got my corndog fix at Corndog Castle at DCA :-)

Maybe not - but they sure taste good and these are big enough to share...Most of us would never think to eat them anywhere else - and lets be realistic - most people eat more junk when at DL than they do in their real lives, which isn't so bad when you think about how much walking you do at the parks...

OHMG the corn dogs are awesome! We had never had one before last Thursday. As we strolled up to the cart my husband says in shock, "5.50 for a corn dog - never mind!" I told him to "chill, we're on vacation" and we went ahead and bought one, with apples, so to be more healthy :) He took one bite and said "ok, it's worth 5.50" He is still raving about that corn dog :)

I think that the corn dogs at the mall where they cook them on demand are MUCH better tasting than the ones at DL. The hot dogs themselves are better tasting, IMHO, too.

But, when you gotta, you gotta! :0)
