Topic: Disneyland Princess character meal

1	Megara Sun 12/9/2007 3:49p	Where in Disneyland do they have the Princess character meals? Friends are travelling with a sick child from Australia to Disneyland next May and would like her to meet her dream princess - Snow White. Also, does anyone know whether Disneyland offers anything special for sick children meeting the characters in person?
2	FerretAfros Sun 12/9/2007 4:15p	I don't think there is any place in DL that does just Princesses at meals. Goofy's Kitchen in the Dineyland Hotel and Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian both have character meals, but it's pretty much random who you will get to see. There is also a breakfast at the Plaza Inn, which is hosted by Minnie and her friends, but I don't know who all her friends include. In Fantasyland, they recently opened the Princess Fantasy Faire, and part of it is the Disney Princess Royal Walk. Basically, there are 3 princesses who you can get your picture with. Unfortunately, they rotate out all day so you never know who you will get, and the line can be a little long at times. I'm sure if you ask there, they could tell you who they have at that moment, but that's no gurantee of who will be there by the time you get to the front of the line. Also, try asking at City Hall on Main Street when you get there, and they will be able to let you know when she will be out. If you explain your situation, they might even be able to arrange a special meeting, but I don't know that for sure. And, if all else fails, Snow White is part of the princess float at the end of the Parade of Dreams that is performed pretty much every day all year.
3	FerretAfros Sun 12/9/2007 4:16p	Also, the princesses have been known to hang out in front of the castle for pictures, so you might find here there too. Given that she has the little grotto area, it wouldn't surprise me if she made regular appearances there (be sure to check over to the side when you pass by, as they might be a little hidden).
4	gottaluvdavillains Sun 12/9/2007 4:55p	The princesses are in Ariels Grotto - Depending on when they will be there they can have lunch or dinner. The way it works is you when you are seated you go down the stairs and meet Ariel for a picture - you then go to your table and after they take your drink order the princesses come out to each table one at a time - It is best if seated at a booth to have the child or children on the edges so they can easily get up and pose with the princesses. Also you can check with the Princess Fantasy Faire and find out when Snow White might be reading a story and plan to be there for that. I am sure if your friends contacted Vacation Planning or even the Guest Services and explained about their daughter DL would make sure it was a special experience...
5	gaydsnywitch Sun 12/9/2007 6:46p	If the Snow White 70th thing is still going on at the Animation building in DCA, there's a pretty good chance that Snow will be out front at the cottage.

7	The-Tink-Mobile Sun 12/9/2007 7:06p	Iknow that you will be able to meet snowhite at the story telling , just inside the castle soivenior shop, it is a very funny and great time, Snowhite is my Favoutite right along side of tink...sit by the wall closet to where Snowhites chair is and you will be first in line...that should help the lil one get to see snowhite first and take your time, she loves the children, her eyes give away her heart, have FUN, Lord....have mercy, touch this lil flower with the grace of your loving heart, heal her Lord...from what ever it is that ails her, you have given her your strength to date Lord, her faith in you welcomes your healing touch...amen...God Bless you have a great time.....Love and Prayers Always from the Tink-Mobile and Snowhite oxox
8	gottaluvdavillains Sun 12/9/2007 7:09p	Well they have moved that story time (we liked it there) to the princess fantasy faire - if you go down by the stage on either side there is a throne and a princess will come out and read the story - They also have a coranation ceramony and of course the 1-2 hr line to see the princesses... The idea of the fantasy faire was nice - but we miss seeing the princesses walking near the castle...

10	NJ AP Mon 12/10/2007 2:03p	gottaluv ... me too. :( The princesses roaming around the castle made DisneyLand feel special. The princesses penned up in the fantasy faire make DisneyLand feel like Disney World. Just not the same.
