Oh my favorite Helena film is Room With A View...They used that wonderful Puccini aria from his one act bit that I can't begin to type out here...Johnny something...The same aria was also used for a champange ad campaign at the same time....I remember more of the music than I do the film but I do remember it was wonderful....The strangest role to me that Helena has doen and no one has mentioned here was her bit in the Planet of the Apes...I didn't enjoy the film but there were a few things design wise that I thought was very interesting...I keep meaning to go back and give it another view....

As far as Tim's current work I am aware of the socalled film's he is going to do for Disney...Is there nothing else between Sweeney and them????

In regards to what Tim is up to right now...I am under the impression that the Ripley film is dead...But what do I know???

Dar, I just can't stop tonight...Are you still feeling addicted to the film? For me, I simply can't get the songs out of my head...It isn't the film making me crazy it is the music and lyrics...The character I share the house with here asked if I was not sick of listening to it and my response was "no"...I did though finally pull the CD out of the player and replaced it with Chicago...So I feel sure I will be asked the same question in a few days relating to it..But back to Sweeney...I really wish I had the know how as how to pull the music that plays over the closing credits on to a cd...I am so sorry they didn't include that bit on the soundtrack...

I watched Sweeney Todd on DVD last night. I hated it. The score was interesting, and I probably would have enjoyed it more if the accents hadn't gotten in the way of my understanding what was being said.

But the senseless violence totally turned me off. I don't mind dark. I thought No Country for Old Men was a fantastic (though difficult to watch) movie. In that movie there was a reason and purpose for the violence. In this film Sweeney Todd seemed to be offing people just for the fun of it.

Sorry... that's just too danged evil for me. I may watch it again sometime, but I can't really imagine that just now.

Come on Road, Sweeney also had a need..The guy was rather twisted in his effort of getting revenge...I hated the film you mentioned but loved Sweeney...Another of those different strokes routines for everyone...
