I just got back last night from 4 days at the 2 Disney parks that I love (yes I do love DCA too). My plans for Nemo were to try and ride it twice in my 4 days. One try was going to be first thing Wednesday which is a non-early entry day. I got into the park before official opening as they allowed people to the end of main street. I waited in the photo shop which is next to the front of the line outside. I was allowed out at the same time as the others and ran/fast walked. While others were being routed around the Matterhorn to the north. I made like I was riding the Matterhorn and entered its line on the south. When I got to Nemo were the make you start which actualy is on the east side of the Matterhorn at hopped over the chain. I looked ahead of me and not a sole, I was the very fist one and I was excited. That excitement ended quickly as the CM there said the ride wasn't up yet. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!! They had no time frame for it to be fixed and me not being much of a gambler decided to leave and go elsewhere. Later I found out it was about 90 minutes before they were up and running so I made the right choice. A CM said since Nemo first opened only twice has it not been running at park opening.

I did ride Nemo 3 times on this trip though and each time was only a 30 minute wait. The first was Tuesday because it was raining a little. The park was not crowded beacuse of rain predicted for the day. During the parade it rained hard and half the people that were there left. Disneyland was a pleasure the rest of the night as the rain stopped and Disneyland was vacant. So vacant I had a boat to myself on Pirates, In ToonTown I saw maybe 10 people and on Buzz he let me stay on the ride because nobody was in line to even board a vehicle. On my last day I started and ended my day on Nemo. The start was early entry but I used my same technique as described above with basically only early entrys ahead of me meaning a 30 minute wait. My last time was just by getting in line at 11:30 at night on another day in which it rained and got some people to leave.

I love the Disney parks in the rain too! We went on Nemo only once on our last trip at the end of November. It always had a long line. The day we went was our early entry day and we went there first thing and got on in less than 5 minutes.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
