I'm not sure whether I'm comforted or troubled by the fact that America is OK seeing NYC be destroyed.

I plan on seeing it with an "aqcuired" version due to the lack of movie theatres where I am at.

I agree, The Redhead. Some of the scenes I observed were eerily like 9/11.
I didn't like it.

Is it because it takes place in New York? What if it were L.A.? Boston? Des Moines?

Yes. For me, it's because it shows the destruction of buildings in New York City. And has scenes where people are running in terror through the streets of New York City.

Just like what happened in New York City 6 years ago.

In fact, I saw a clip from the movie of people running away from a giant dust and debris cloud [from a falling skyscraper] -- just like the images we saw from 9/11.

The people run into a dark building and as they're catching their breath, you can see the dust and just flying past them through the window.

I watched a documentary about 9/11 [those French filmmakers] and there was a scene just like this. But it was real.

So you're okay watching destruction in those other cities?

[How did I know that would the the follow up question?]

I have a problem with showing the destruction of New York City in a movie, post 9/11.

Do you understand my position now?

What else would you like to know?
