Topic: Anyone planning on seeing Cloverfield?

25	Jim in Merced CA Fri 1/18/2008 10:40a	Yes. For me, it's because it shows the destruction of buildings in New York City. And has scenes where people are running in terror through the streets of New York City. Just like what happened in New York City 6 years ago. In fact, I saw a clip from the movie of people running away from a giant dust and debris cloud [from a falling skyscraper] -- just like the images we saw from 9/11. The people run into a dark building and as they're catching their breath, you can see the dust and just flying past them through the window. I watched a documentary about 9/11 [those French filmmakers] and there was a scene just like this. But it was real.

Do you understand my position now? What else would you like to know?
