Sat 5/17/2008 11:19p | I confess we attended our grandson's Pony League baseball game in 100+* heat this afternoon. The boy did well and I marveled at the way they could play in the heat. When I was a boy, I lived in a warm climate and would spend most summer days riding all over town on my bicycle. Now, around 60 years later, I seem to lack the energy to do that. Perhaps there are some drawbacks to aging. But, if I hadn't aged, I wouldn't have a wonderful grandson to watch on a hot day. |
