Thu 5/29/2008 8:35a | I confess I had planned to ride my motorscooter from OC to Phoenix last week.
Watching the weather channel on the morning of departure, I noted the temps in Palm Springs and Phoenix were to be 109* and the trip between them would be even hotter.
I decided to take my car instead.
Had a good visit with some friends who are not doing too well healthwise.
After three days, I returned home in temps 50-55 degrees cooler, cloudy and occasional showers.
I'm not sure my "mature" body can do much of this anymore. |

Mrs.Dd109 is real happy,me I am a little sick to my tummy right now.
I was looking forward to retirement BUT I think that after 35 years in law enforcemnt I may just feel a little out of the loop.
I really hate the idea of just being a civilian. Your in law enforcement or your not and I don't know if I am going to like this one bit.Sorry ,just worried a little right now. |

Also I saw a where are they now about Jake Ryan - if I remember correctly, he is a construction guy in the midwest - he just didn't like the whole hollywood thing! |

All's quiet at home and I'm enjoying checking out the LP, instead of trying to get some sleep. Working two jobs isn't much fun... The things we do to pay for our DL Trips!!! |
