I also confess I was a good mom and got her homewokr for her to work on while we were gone. |

Sat 1/19/2008 9:24p | xppx - this is what I tell the school - my child is only a child for a short time and it is important to do these things with children - unfortunately it can't always work into the schools calendar - but my child is doing fine academically and we made up all the work...
They get mad because they don't get paid for those days - as long as Alex is doing well don't sweat it...

Sun 1/20/2008 7:36a | I confess I spent a fun day with my 12 year old niece yesterday. We went go-carting, played mini-golf, and played in the arcade. It was her choice of days.
I confess I got a huge smile when we got back to the house and I asked her brother what he wanted to do on his day. "Can we go to Disneyland?" and my brothe piped up "I want to go too!"

I don't have any more school-day trips planned this year, but we'll probably have another one next December. :) |

pretzels were buy 3 get one free - I have 4 kids they all wanted one!!
