Dharma Dalmatians!

<<Even though it did little to advance the story line>>

I think we got some subversive clues in this episode. Penny knows enough to be transmitting so that the boat picks up her signal. The "boat people" know enough about the caller not to answer. And why is Widmore so interested in the logbook of the Black Rock?

ORWEN: You're so smart, Autopia Deb, duckling!! I never even THOUGHT about the things you suggested--until now!! We're just gonna' have to wait and see, I guess. But I'm betting we haven't seen the last of Eloise. One of these days all of us, here, will be able to say, "I know about Eloise!!"

yes, I'm very curious to see how the Black Rock logbook fits into this all!

I thought this episode with Desmond was among the best of the entire 'Lost' series.

I love time travel stories, so this one with alternate universes et al, was fantastic.

I did not get to finish watching the episode but it has been quite interesting. I finally got to catch up to this season and I am liking how it is progressing. Last season I lost a little bit of interest, but this season I am full in again.

I, actually, find I'm losing interest in the season. I love time travel stuff, too, but I was promised that there was a 'logical explaination' for all the occurrences. Time travel seems to be a cop out on that explaination. The whole 'unstuck in time' thing reminds me of 'Slaughterhouse 5', which I was told was a good book, but didn't really enjoy it.

The actor who plays Widmore is listed as one of the guest stars in tonight's episode. It's Juliet-centric, so that seems odd. I'm thinking we're finally going to get a hint as to his part in the larger conspiracy.

ZZZZZ...literally. I dozed in and out during the episode last night. I revived to see Locke and Ben and the video and Julia on the beach with what's his name and then again seeing him dead. I'm sure I missed some key things. So do you all think that Penny's dad had been tracking Penny's search for Desmond, then researched the Island or was he involved with Dharma from the start? Or do I not have a clue as to what I am talking about :)

<<ZZZZZ...literally. I dozed in and out during the episode last night.<<

Lol, me too, though I really didn't mean to or want to. I woke up about 5 minutes in, kept dozing in & out for the next 20 minutes or so, and then saw the last 30 minutes.

I enjoyed what I saw, though I was a little confused, having missed some scenes. I absolutely loved the Hurley/Sawyer moment upon seeing Ben. "See you guys at dinner." Lol, I busted a gut at that.

>>>I absolutely loved the Hurley/Sawyer moment upon seeing Ben. "See you guys at dinner."<<<

Best line of the show.

My questions is...

Is Locke an IDIOT???!!! How many times is he going to fall for it? Like Ben said, "He always has a plan," and he is obviously very much in communication with the others.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
