If Lost is taking over the Grey's slot, where is Grey's going when it comes back? Is it just there temporarily?

All the episodes of Grey's that were produced before the strike started have aired. There were only 8 episodes of Lost produced before the strike. So if the strike ends in time to get some episodes for May sweeps, Lost will have already finished its run.

Now that I've re-watched season 3 and seen the extras I'm thinking that we've lost Charlie for good. Why oh why couldn't it have been Jack or Lock? Even though he had his dark moments, I really loved the character and will miss him. I just don't know if I can love Lost without him.

I'll be watching in a little over two weeks with or without my favorite damaged rock has been.

I still firmly believe Charlie's coming back. Patchy (aka Mikhael) is never buried, and he keeps coming back to life. Everyone else gets buried or cremated, so they can't come back.

The island healed Locke, Rose, and Sun/Jin, so why not Charlie? Granted, Charlie's "injury" is a little more serious, but I still wouldn't be surprised if he comes back. In fact, I really hope he does because I've been telling everyone here my theory, and everybody keeps telling me I'm crazy.

It was confirmed by the producers in one of their podcasts that Charlie IS actually dead. That doesn't mean he won't reappear in a flashback or dream or something like that, just not on a regular basis or a main character. Sort of how we saw Boone after he was dead.

I didn't say he wasn't actually dead--I think getting shot with a harpoon would mean that Patchy was actually dead. But he still came back. I'm hoping the same will happen with Charlie. Don't crush my dream. :)

Another intersting tidbit: the producers have confirmed that both Charlie and Libby will play a very important role this season in flashbacks.

also, in the preview check out the current haircut and street clothes...also word on the street is still about the flashfoward. can't wait for these 8 episodes. I hope WGA will make their deal so we can get the remaining 8, though I think it's unlikely at this point.

I'm excited about the flashforwards--the producers have said that they'll alternate randomly between fbs and ffs. I hope they put little clues to let us figure out which is which--like the infamous Krazer in the Season 3 finale.
