Anyone watching the Lost season 3 finale
recap tonight?

I watched it. Though the pop-ups didn't really tell us anything that hasn't already been discussed on the theory boards, I found myself laughing at some of them.

Today I've been watching the "Missing Pieces" episodes:

The final "Missing Piece" is not on abc.com yet, but it is available elsewhere:

<<Why oh why couldn't it have been Jack or Lock? >>

Granted this is not a show to play by the rules but I have to feel that the untouchables on this show have been: Jack Locke Kate Sawyer and Hurley. Though I'm thinking you could also add Ben and Desmond to that list.

I should clarify up until the final episodes of the show, then all bets are off.

I have a feeling that desmond, the man with the visions, richard, the man who doesn't age, mikhail, the man who doesn't die, and ben and Locke who can talk to jacob, are connected somehow...

Did Mikhail blow himself up? It looked like he was holding the grenade when he blew up the window and flooded the Looking Glass.

I thought he was swimming away before the grenade went off.

Still with me?

I was so excited when Charlie showed up in Hurley's flash forward--I thought my theory was totally vindicated. "Yay!" (I said to myself) "I was right! Charlie does come back!" Alas, it appears he only lives in Hurley's imagination. :(

What'd you guys think? Anyone disappointed? I know everyone else in my house was hoping for more answers, but I thought it was pretty good. It was really intriguing that Hurley regrets going with Locke. If the freighter people are as bad as Ben says they are, why would Hurley wish he had been around?

And was that really Christian Shepherd sitting in the chair in Jacob's cabin? Hurley saw somebody in that cabin--are Ben and Locke not the only ones with a special connection to the island?

Very, very interesting.

We loved it! The whole creepy rocking chair part was great, now that you mention it, the guy did look like Jacks dad. Hurley's part just keeps getting better and better!

So six came off the island? We know Kate, Jack, Hurley and now I can't remember who's funeral Jack attended last season.

I really enjoy reading all the comments on the LP threads. Helps me fit in those missing puzzle pieces :)

I loved it last night. A few questions like always. Did the fellow mental patient also see Charlie? Who are the six? We know Jack, Kate and Hurley. I'm thinking Claire w/Aaron (counting them as one) Jin and Sun were the remaining three.
