So, Aaron is what like 5 years old?? Which means either we are like 4 years off the island or maybe they are trying to tell us something about the time shift, it seems to easy to just be 4 years off. It might be likely Jack doesn't want to see Aaron because he found out that Claire was his half-sis which makes him related to Aaron which would be even harder, I don't think he thinks it's Sawyer's. It would seem that Claire has died/was killed. 8 survivors (though we know it's a cover-up and there are more survivors still likely on the island), yet we know of the Oceanic 6, we guessing desmond (since we see him on the freighter) and juliet, meaning ben's not counted which makes him still hiding though he makes it off the island (he and sayid).

and seriously just bring on michael, i am sick of the harold perrineau in the opening credits and we still have to wait ;) hehe, i know it's coming soon...

I thought Aaron looked like a big 2-3 year old.

And, I'm wondering where the heck the helicopter is...

<<<And, I'm wondering where the heck the helicopter is...>>>

I'm thinking they did not fly back exactly the way they came to the island. If they have to leave the island the same route they came to the island then wouldn't Frank the helocopter pilot, Sayed and Desmond all have to leave seperately? They all came to the island from different directions.

I would assume that Aaron actually is one of the 6, so that would leave just one more that hasn't yet been identified. With his age, the public would have likely assumed that Aaron was conceived prior to the crash (which he obviously really was), and would count as a survivor.

I thought that the episode was generally pretty good, but that they were a bit too obvious at telegraphing the ending this time. From them moment that Kate mentioned that she had a son, I was pretty convinced that the twist at the end was going to be that the son would turn out to be Aaron.

My instinct is that Claire is probably not going to survive this season. The character hasn't had much to do for a while (particularly now that Charlie is gone) and I have a hard time believing that she would stay behind on the island while allowing Kate to take Aaron back.

I thought that the most interesting part of the episode was actually the false story that Jack told during the testimony. I really wonder what led them to agree on a fake story. The fact that he claimed there were 2 more survivors that didn't make it is also interesting. I really wonder who they will be.

The helicopter may not be there yet, just like the missile took longer, there's some sort of time shift going on.

I , now, don't know about Claire being dead though. I was reminded that the psychic told claire aaron couldn't be raised by another, so maybe claire is still on the island, but wanted aaron in safety back in the normal world. some of the reason they want to go back could have to do with that prediction, possibly.

everyone seems to know the manifest so well, so i still don't think aaron would count as a survivor, just an idea.

Off topic, but what song was Kate listening to in this week's episode? I'm pretty sure it was Patsy Cline singing.

No, it wasn't "Crazy". It was "She's Got You".

Speaking of, did anyone else see those super cool ABC music video Lost promos? They were online and shown a couple of times on TV right around the time the show came back. They were really cool. They each focused on a difference Losty, and played that character's "theme songs" along with a few clips featuring the character.

Jack's was "Doctor, Doctor"
Sawyer's was "Bad to the Bone"
and Locke's was...what else? "Crazy". :)

I think you can still find them on ABC.com

REALLY had to pay close attention tonight. I might even rewatch it again as I still don't know if I got all of it.

We are only half way thru on the west coast, but it is interesting.

I've been intrigued by storys of time travel since I was old enough to read SciFi.
