50	LuLu Thu 1/31/2008 12:27p	OK I have the scoop on this now. Due to the size of our group, we have to book thru Special Events. This really changes things, so I need to find out everyone's decision based on the news. We have a choice of family style or plated service from a set menu. Essentially I'd have to select a salad, an appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 desserts for everyone to eat. It also includes rice, beans, coffee/tea/iced tea for adults and soda for kids. Lunch would either be served family style, for the approximate price of $36 adults, $22 kids under 12, including tax and gratuity, OR plated at $41/$26. I'm adding in the tax and gratuity on my own, so the prices may be off by a quarter or so (they will add 20% gratuity + tax, but their computation may vary from mine!). I don't know if this is eligible for the AP discount, but I first need to see if folks are even interested. I'd have to make a deposit at least a week ahead, then charge the meal to my credit card, and collect from everyone at the event. I'm willing to do this if folks are interested. I'm afraid our options are limited for a large group meal. Before, I did try to reserve this lunch thru Disney Dining and was told only Storyteller's could take a group of 12 or more. I'm open to other suggestions, if you know of a place that will take a large group.
