6	friendofdd Fri 1/4/2008 10:22p	There has been a July meet for several years on, or around, the 17th. However there has been no "official" LP meet since the DL 50th birthday celebration. So, it depends on at least one of two things. First, Doobie and Rebekah can call an official meet and, secondly, one or more LP members may decide to call an unofficial meet. We have had unofficial meets the last two years, including, with permission, a time to present Golden Doobies. As I understand it, LP being a business has liability issues to be addressed. So an official meet has to cover those concerns. An unofficial meet may not use the name Laughing Place and is really no more than a group of people with common interests coming together in a Disney park. The liability issues for that are just those implied when buying entry to the park. Hope this helps.

9	LuLu Sun 1/6/2008 10:24p	Gee, I'm learning too! fodd, I didn't even know all that! I'll start a couple rumors - I believe it will be an unofficial meet this year, and I hear LuLu may be attending!
10	iamsally Sun 1/6/2008 10:42p	The iamsallys have been planning on attending a July meet since we left the last July meet. Unofficial or whatevah, we will be around on July 17,2008.
