115	Kira Thu 4/3/2008 2:46p	I have been sitting here mulling this over, trying to figure out if I would have enough money to renew my annual pass for the summer since this will be the first summer I haven't had to work (which means no income) in the past 5 years. I was so excited because I have not had the chance to attend a meet since 2005 (although I'm always in the parks, but NEVER on meet days ironically hah)and there are so many great LPers that I want to meet! I THOUGHT I had it all figured out and was going to post with the news that I would be attending this year, when a big alarm bell went off in my head and reminded me that I would be in VEGAS during the same date(s). It turns out I had forgotten all about my uncles wedding on the 18th of July. SO, sadly I will be missing out AGAIN this year =( I really wanted to attend the past two years but due to work it just wasn't possible =/ I was really upset last year when I had missed it when I was awarded my first golden doobie too (thanks to xPPx for bringing it home to me though!). I swear I WILL make it to some sort of meet before the end of this year though! I hope you all have loads of fun once more and I look forward to the trip reports and pictures =)

117	LuLu Thu 4/3/2008 9:56p	I would definitely make reservations now. Arrive July 16 so you're there for the morning of the 17th, and book as many nights as you can stay. Since the 17th is a Thursday this year, those who can stay several days will probably stay into the following weekend. (You can always cancel extra days if you decide later not to stay that long.)

119	JazzCat Mon 4/7/2008 12:03p	We all used to get LP discounts at HoJo's, (maybe we still do, but they are over $100 a night) so many of us would stay there. However, it sounds as if many of us will be staying at the Super8 on Katella.
120	LuLu Mon 4/7/2008 5:17p	I love the restaurants at the Garden Walk, and Super 8 will be so convenient! 15% off $150 or so at HoJo's isn't such a deal any more :-(
