122	iamsally Wed 4/9/2008 11:21a	I regret to say that Rod and I have made the difficult decision not to attend the meets in July this year. No, nobody's mad. We have just decided to let our passes expire and not renew until 2009. Mine expires June 24. There are many places we love to visit that have been ignored for a few years. Yes, we are actually going to do something else. I will miss you all so and wish you a wonderful time. (Shiva is threatening to carry life-size cuttouts of us around.)
123	MomluvsDisney Wed 4/9/2008 11:51a	I was planning on coming for the 17th and the 18th. That is a start week for the classes I am a technical representative for, so I am unable to take the time off. However, if anyone will be there on Saturday the 19th and/or Sunday the 20th I would love to meet up with them for bit or more. Is anyone planning for the weekend??

125	SoThisIsLove Wed 4/9/2008 12:37p	friendofdd, excellent intel and it bears repeating for folks like me who missed it the first time: <<There has been a July meet for several years on, or around, the 17th. However there has been no "official" LP meet since the DL 50th birthday celebration. So, it depends on at least one of two things. First, Doobie and Rebekah can call an official meet and, secondly, one or more LP members may decide to call an unofficial meet. We have had unofficial meets the last two years, including, with permission, a time to present Golden Doobies. As I understand it, LP being a business has liability issues to be addressed. So an official meet has to cover those concerns. An unofficial meet may not use the name Laughing Place and is really no more than a group of people with common interests coming together in a Disney park. The liability issues for that are just those implied when buying entry to the park. Hope this helps.>>
126	lesmisfan Wed 4/9/2008 6:01p	hopefully i can be there. but since i work at the parks and its busy season especailly on the pier with midway mania opening up, i don't know if they will give me the time off i need. heres hoping.
