42	iamsally Tue 1/29/2008 3:02p	We always stay at the Parkside. However, we do not recommend it to friends not to those with whom we want to remain friends. It is not the worst place in the world but many people just can't take it. We stayed there when we could afford nothing else and have gotten friendly with the management and get really good deals. Like you said Lulu, "half the price" and you get what you pay for. The sheets are clean, there are microwaves and 'fridges in every room. We do not stay in our room, we stay at the park so we are okay with it. Felt it was only fair to warn you. And so are many people cuz they are always full. And oh yeah, their *continental breakfast* consists of Cosco prewrapped pastries, coffee, tea and SunnyD.
43	LuLu Tue 1/29/2008 4:31p	Well, I've never had a *coconut* mojito, which sounds delicious! Yum! I ended up booking at the Super 8 Katella, which was even cheaper. It's certainly better reviewed. Jazzy, you might give it a shot, especially if you have AAA, I think you'll find it a better deal than splitting *anything.* The cheapest 2-stars nearby start at $129 (1 bed at HoJo's). Super 8 is $53 on weeknights. Now, I hope they don't have bugs or anything!!
44	Shiva Tue 1/29/2008 4:56p	LuLu, Tinkeroon and I have been staying at the Super 8 Katella for years. It's *no frills* but very clean, comfortable, has a friendly staff and ample parking, even when we get back to the hotel room after 1:00am. Over the years, we have have a couple of minor problems like a clogged drain (which I've even had at the DLR hotels) but again the staff was wonderful and had the problem fixed in just a few minutes. It's just about our favorite place to stay. We average over 30 days a year there.
