I think you're looking for a specific answer that you haven't yet gotten. Maybe I can help... I know you don't know me from Adam, but let me assure you that I've been involved with the "Big" July Meet, and especially the Golden Doobie awards, for 6 years (2001-2006 - the Dlands graciously stepped in to handle the awards last year when I couldn't). So I thought I'd let you know - you're asking for specifics WAY too soon! Even when we had an "official" catered meet, details (even date and time!) weren't announced til a month or so ahead. Trust me, when details are available, you'll find them in the Meets section! It won't be a secret! And as mentioned in this topic, there are generally a number of meets over several days, so that most "locals" can make at least some of them. I'm glad you had such a good time last year! I'm looking forward to meeting you in a few weeks.

Yeah, big surprise there, people!!! ;) As for time, I will either have it at 11 am (assuming there is a Lunchtime Lounge to follow) or later in the day, but not too late, so about 3 pm or 4 pm. So yes, things are still in the pre-planning stage. What would I like to see? I'd love to see more new people come up with meet ideas! I'd love to see a lot of the ancients show up, too! (being an ancient, I can call us that!)
