Topic: Farewell Mary...

1	irishfan Sun 1/6/2008 6:02a	I managed to see Mary Poppins one last time (at least in London), on Friday night last. I fell in love with this production back in 2005, and having viewed it now 5 times since then it still wows me. The cast on Friday were fantastic, I had great seats, (stalls, centre, row G), and it was a joy from start to end. I would have loved to have gone to the final show on Jan 12th, I was offered some tickets, but I have to be back in Sydney before then. I'll have to make it to NYC to see the Broadway production.
2	FerretAfros Tue 1/8/2008 1:38p	That's sad that they are closing the show in London. Any particular reason that it's closing? It seems to be very popular in New York, so I imagine it would still be making money across the Atlantic as well.
