| DAR Thu 1/31/2008 1:39p | I also like the somewhat nicer attitude from the judges this year. However, if you have to deal with that idiot like the last guy and his "entertainment" attempts or that snotty little brat who was on American Juniors, then I say the judges should be given free reign. But if there's a physical or mental disability then no that's not right. |

| DAR Thu 1/31/2008 2:05p | Does anyone know that once you make it through to Hollywood do they set up the contestants with the transportation and accomodations right away? |

| Tinkerbell819 Thu 1/31/2008 8:49p | I agree about that snotty Amer. Jrs. girl. she deserved whatever they could dish out. (They were too nice to her.)
I was surprised that the girl that worked in the meat market was so bad. When the parents showed off all of her singing awards I thought she'd be good. It makes you wonder how bad the other singers were that she beat in a competition.

| sun-n-fun Fri 2/1/2008 5:28a | I'm sooooo glad the American Juniors girl didn't make it!!!
But I did love the 2 heavier women. With one wanting Simon and the other Randy, it was hilarious. They seemed like genuinely nice and fun people and they could sing too. They will be fun to watch. |

| amazedncal2 Fri 2/1/2008 7:28a | DAR, I was about to post the same question :) Does anyone know about the financial stuff and what Idol pays for? I'm sure anyone under 18 needs a parent along and I'm wondering about spouses or kids too? I guess they would be on their own.
I'm also liking the judging better this year. We zap though the montages, a waste of time, well not that the whole show isn't but you know what I mean :)
So are we finally off to Hollywood next week?

| melekalikimaka Tue 2/5/2008 6:26p | I won't post a link to the website but tvgasm has hilarious episode recaps. A warning, though, it's definitely not a site for kids.
They have recaps for Rock of Love but not the 2nd season...yet. ;-) |

| Tinkerbell819 Tue 2/5/2008 6:48p | Tonight's show was really good! Lots of laughs and a few tears. (from me that is!) I thought this was the best city so far, (Atlanta) for contestant's personal stories, where I felt a connection and might actually remember them later. (If that makes any sense.) I really liked the girl whose Dad just passed away. I admire her courage and strength and know I couldn't do what she did! I was blubbering like Paula. I'll have to check out that site Mele. It sounds funny! |
