<<creepiest, deadest eyes?>>

LOL, we were talking about those too. Her hair was awful, too. The wild wavy hair gave her more personality. She reminded me of a Skipper doll.

I liked Asia'h. Ramiele, Syesha and Carly. Syesha was my favorite. After all the hype about this season having the best talent yet, I'm having some trouble seeing it. It was fairly boring.

And what's up with any kids singing the same songs (both a guy and a girl did "Happy Together") They have ten years of music to choose from and that's the best they can do?

Any word on any of the oher themes this year?

The blues, my friend. That was the blues. And not the usual watered-down blues you usually get from white idol singers either; that was the real deal.

Obviously I like Amy. Also very good were Syesha, Ramele, Asia'h, and Carly (yes, Simon WAS wrong). The second half of the show was a lot stronger than the first half. Ramele gets extra degree of difficulty points for her song, which doomed the very talented Stephanie last year.

The others ranged from only okay to pretty good (though I think Joanne was better than she showed - major nerves problem last night), with the exception of Amy, who was just awful. I mean, she wasn't even in the same freaking zip code as the pitch. I think she leaves tonight (unless America is also tone deaf), and maybe Kristy, who has the triple whammy of going first, being forgettable, and having those creepy eyes.

Agreed! And the girls were better than the guys on balance. This is not the most talented group they've ever had, but they pretty much have to say that if they don't want their ratings to erode any more, I think.

Good music that might actually sell some CD's.

Idol keeps picking these middle of the road pop singers while the idol contestants who've sold the most albums are Underwood (Country) and Daughtry (Rocker). I wish the teeny-boppers who vote on this stuff would grow a little in their tastes.

Yes, I know Clarkson has sold a bunch of CD's. But even Clarkson moved away from pop after her first CD which probably counts for her longevity and continued sales.

Well then all girls with creepy eyes should be so hot. Plus she's got a great set of um.....lungs.

So, I'm watching their sing-along at the beginning of the show and I keep expecting them to break into "It's a Sunshine Day" by the Brady Bunch.

I had to re watch to zone in on Kristy's creepy eyes. Whoa! Someone must have said to her, you need to open your eyes more. I doubt they suggested to bug them out. From dead to cartoon.

LOL, mele about the Skipper doll!

Wow, how horrible was that Paula Abdul song/video? For someone who is going to dance like there's no tomorrow, you would think there would have been a lot more dancing going on there.
