Wed 2/27/2008 1:43p | The problem I hear with Robbie Carrico is that his voice is too "smooth," for lack of a better word. While I don't doubt his sincerity, it reminds me of the SNL skit where they have the Will Farrell and Ana Gasteyer play a married could who are also middle school music teachers who do gigs on the side. The wife, Bobbi-Mohen Culp, sings everything in an operatic voice. Not that he is nearly that bad... just that I don't hear a rocker voice from him. |

yeah, someone needs to tell him that. he talks talks talks about being a rocker, and rocking, all that jibberish. then david cook gets mostly good reviews for being rock, and he doesn't have long hair and the robbie get-up, robbie's act is wearing thin. |

Wed 2/27/2008 3:55p | I vote for Robbie C. and jason Yeager to go home. Robbie was just horrible and Jason had the cheesiest performance ever. David A was so awesome I had goosebumps. David Cook was great too. However he was a little cheeky when he reminded Simon of the rules. I think there are times when you take the critisism and just nod. He could have just said sorry I disagree. |

Wed 2/27/2008 6:57p | Brooke was far and away the best tonight. I really liked Kristy(yes I listened to her) I disagreed with their assesment on Syesha I thought she was really strong. Amanda and Alexandrea should be worried and Kady shouldn't get too comfortable. But overall it was better than last night but that's because the girls are better this year save for David Archuletta and Michael Johns when he's on. |

Wed 2/27/2008 9:29p | 1. Carly (Crazy On You): Nice song choice. She definitely can sing, it was ok for me, not super great. Very poised and mature. I hope she goes far. She needs a better bra though. LOL
2. Syesha (Me and Mr Jones): Man, I hate this song and I really like her so I'm trying to be objective. Ok, she s"a"ng it. The girls got chops, looks, charisma - whole package. However, I didn't like it. Think song choice was really weak.
3. Brooke (You're So Vain): Zzzzzzz. I like her and am rooting for her but she keeps falling flat. I just didn't hear what the judges did obviously.
4. Ramiele (Don't Leave Me This Way): Eh.
5. Kristy (You're No Good): Her whole stage antics just didn't do it for me. Really irritating. She looked like she was still on her horse. Everyone is so monotone. She was just kinda flat. Her actions were louder and more up and down than her voice.
6. Amanda (Carry On?): I love her voice. LOL, her get up was fierce but I don't think she stretched her vocals enough. It was all too made up. Ah, seems the judges agree. She takes it though, she's very mature. I hope she makes it further. Doesn't she look like Suzanne Pleshette?
7. Alaina (Hopelessly Devoted To You): She's gotta go. No. No. No. Although I can relate to the poor girl's food issues. ;>
8. Alexandrea (If You Leave Me Now): WTH was she thinking? This girl can sing. This was a complete mess. Aye yi yi! And the outfit, was she going hiking?
9. Kady (Try?): Wow, really off key. Doesn't she scream diva? That was horrible. Yikes, that was painful to watch cause she really digs herself.
10. Asia'h (All By Myself): <sigh> What happen to all of the strong singers? Aye yi yi - over sung, too low in spots. Blech. I agree with Simon.
I have no clue who's in danger and who's not. |

Wed 2/27/2008 9:39p | I put Brooke at the top this week because it was so natural for her. I don't like the song, but it just flowed out...effortless.
Carly's vocal performance was very strong, but I put her in the #2 spot because she doesn't know how to work the camera. She moves awkwardly, and she made some rather scary faces tonight. |
