She sang "I Hate Myself for Loving You". I thought she did really well. I honestly think it's more of a shyness thing rather than snobby. I thought LaKeisha last year was snobby. At least Amanda smiles!

OMG! Check out post 303. I should contact Dionne Warwick and see if she wants to start up the Psychic Friends again...

(The Daily Show to Dionne Warwick: "The Psychic Friends Network went under. Did no one... see that coming?")

Kady should go home. I like Kristy but she was just ok. Ramiele was boring to me. I am not a fan of Amanda but have to admit she did do better last night. My favorite was Brooke.

But seriously, what is up with Amanda's attitude? Is it snarky, or shy...or what? I can't figure it out but I don't like it. She looks thoroughly bored with the whole process as if she's too good to be on American Idol and she's lowering her standards to compete. Anyone else think she has a weird affect?>>>

One of the writers I read today suggested that she is glum because she realizes she isn't good enough to win, but she is good enough to end up having to spend all summer touring with the rest of the top 10. :)

When you look at some of the gals around her that can belt the notes out that has to be somewhat intimidating. Amanda is very limited to what she can perform well and her range is not as broad as some of the others IMO.

<<I might be wrong about Kristy. She might stay if votes get split between Asia'h and Syeshia.>>

They certainly made it appear that way with Kristy and Asia'h at the end. So with that, I was right about who would go this week. Not that it was hard to predict.

YES! Danny went home. I kind of thought Luke would go too. Kady leaving was no surprise either.

I always liked Asia'h. She had such spunk and her voice was good. Luke might do well in a Broadway show, well maybe not on Broadway but you know what I mean.

Kady needs more training and experience.
Danny was done for me a couple of weeks ago.

DlandJB, that writer might be right about Amanda :) Her attitude puzzled me and then imadisneygal brought it up here, so I watched her face last night. She had the same look. Kind of unsure, bored, ill? Nothing like her onstage persona. She was more smiley and upbeat before.

Here's mine so far (and this is my personal ranking, not how I percieve their actual popularity):

1. David A.
2. Brooke
3. Carly
4. David C.
5. David H.
6. Ramiele
7. Jason
8. Chikezie
9. MIchael
10. Syeshia
11. Kristy
12. Amanda

Ramiele and Michael were much higher on my list starting with the top 24, but IMO haven't stepped it up as the weeks have gone by. Brooke, David C. and Jason have gotten better, and my ranking reflects that.
