562	Dabob2 Wed 5/7/2008 8:04a	If Jason doesn't go home this week, there's something seriously wrong. Both his performances were - to be kind - lackluster. Of course, I've felt that way about MOST of his performances this year, but finally last night the judges agreed. Was happy to finally see Simon give Syesha her props after "A Change is Gonna Come." It was the most emotionally invested performance of the night. "Hungry Like the Wolf" was a terrible choice (and are Duran Duran really in the RnRHOF???), but David C. bounced back well enough to be safe. I wouldn't say David A. is Michael Bolton-style bombastic, but he can oversing. Last night I thought he was all right though. Sometimes his flourishes really work for me, sometimes they don't. I still think it'll be a David vs. David final.

564	sunNrainfall Wed 5/7/2008 11:21a	^I am a Duran Duran fan, not quite a Duranie, but I saw them in concert this past saturday and sunday, so I am a big enough fan. I was even surprised they were in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I was excited to hear Cook sing HLTW, but it was pretty much a straight copy of Simon's (LeBon) live version.
