Yeah, I thought that was way creepy. Look, I'm all for kids being close to their parents and all, and if someone decides to "save themselves" for marriage, that's their choice (one that I personally don't think is all that healthy, but that's just me).
But I'm not sure what it was, but that relationship between father and son...ewww. And I have two boys myself. It strikes me like a purity ball, where kids declare their virginity and dedicate themselves to their parents. It's almost a little incestuous for me. I know they don't mean it like that, I'm just saying that's how it strikes me. |

| RoadTrip Thu 1/17/2008 8:54p | ^^^ Yes, I linked to ‘Chocolate Rain'. I went down the whole page looking for naughty words that would get it admined and I didn't find any. Maybe there are some naughty words I don't know about.
At any rate, if anyone wants to see/hear 'Chocolate Rain' just go to You Tube and search for it. You'll be glad you did. Kind of.

(I was going to tell you I added some, but I wouldn't know how, b/c I don't have a youtube acct.) If I could I would have said "That, rt, he is such a ^#$#$##@. Now I'll have this stupid song stick in my head for hours." |

Just enough chuckles to keep it going :) I agree with Simon about the last singer, you could kind of tell she thought she was great, it will be interesting to watch her go on. Then again, I suppose confidence is key.
On a side note, the two guys from last season, can't think of their names but Simon said one of them looked like a baby monkey or something like that, super mean Simon moment. Anyway, they were on Jimmy Kimmel the other night and it was pretty darn amusing. Jimmy had them make a video of a Sesame Street song, "Sing a Song" and it was pretty interesting and creepy at the same time. You could kind of see that they still think they could be on American Idol. |
