:-)
P.S. I've never been in the stationary cabs, so I can't really comment on them.

Also....we rode on a very windy day, and it was almost hard to breathe up there at the top....the wind was blowing so hard. But I turned away from the wind, and closed my eyes.....and it was a very smooth ride. Never again.....though. |

That said, I love riding the non-swinging cars on the Sun Wheel (Again, I wouldn't be "afraid" of the swinging cars... I'm just not willing to take on the 99.9% guaranteed risk of nausea and/or vomiting. ;-)
The ferris wheel motion of the Sun Wheel is almost unnoticeable at the slow speed this one turns. And as others said, the view is wonderful (and romantic. :-) |

And those seated around you thank you for that.

When Mr. Alice and I rode in December, I kept watching the family in the swinging car above us. They had a little girl who spent most of the ride laying down and looking miserable. I just prayed that she either would not barf or if she did, it would be "contained." ;-) |

| ChurroMonster Wed 1/23/2008 1:34a | I've been on the ride dozens of times and never noticed any sense of slipping off the seat. The ride is very tame and is hardly a thrill ride. It's fun but it's more of gently relaxing ride for me. |

| bean Wed 1/23/2008 2:56p | the seats were designed for people to sit all the way back with their backs against the backrest. problem is many people especially children like to sit on the seats edge or sideways to look down.
Thats when the slipping occurs
Also, one of the main reason people get nauseous is because they close their eyes and or put their heads down. It makes the movement worse and throws your sense of balance off |
