Topic: whts the sun wheel like?

41	nk28 Thu 2/7/2008 7:33p	hehe...my younger daughter went on the swinging gondolas with my brother, her older sister and her older sister's mom. she was scared silly on the first go around but wouldn't scream or cry or anything until the ferris wheel kept turning when it got to the loading area. hehe...when she realized she was going on another round of it she freaked out! poor girl...she was 5 1/2 at the time. funny thing is next time we go to disney she can't wait to go on them again! lol :)
42	dshyates Thu 2/7/2008 9:07p	I took my 6 year old daughter on the swinging cars and stood sideways in the car. When it does that run out to the end and swings like the dickens, I started swinging my body weight with it and kept it swinging hard for the whole ride. We were whooping like monkeys. I have yet to figure out what is scary about the ride.

45	SoThisIsLove Wed 3/26/2008 2:30p	I am in absolute awe of anyone who is NOT afraid of this ride. Holy cats...I've been on it once (the swinging ones of death) and boy, I was terrified. TOT, Screamin'...kid stuff. And yes, I'll do it again. It made me feel alive! On-the-verge-of-dying-alive, but alive. And I'll try the stationary one now, too, thanks to all of your comments.

48	sgttibs Fri 4/4/2008 4:38p	I've never done the swinging gondolas, mainly because of a YouTube video called "My experience on the Sun Wheel in California Adventure." I still like the stationary gondolas, though. It gave me a good view of the PPP floats a month before launch. I'm looking forward to doing it again when Carsland construction is underway.
49	EighthDwarf Wed 4/9/2008 3:11p	The Sun Wheel IS very tame and relaxing. Especially after a trip to the cove bar.
