Kryssa's voice sounds too much like the Q-tip obsessed girl from ZOey 101, which I refuse to watch now because of the pregnancy of Jamie Lynn. <--- Bit random, but I felt like ranting a bit. |

Isn't beer the national drink of Germany? |

To my knowledge, all of the countries represented also have very modern sections that are just as advanced (if not more in a lot of cases) than our cities, but here we are looking at the past and why things are the way they are. Sure, some of it is real, but a lot of it is what people want to see, which is the generic stereotypes. |

| StarTourist Wed 3/5/2008 1:09p | Okay, this is going to make me look ridiculously old, but I miss the gal in the tour guide outfit that used to talk about things to do in the Magic Kingdom, which played endlessly on one channel on the hotel TVs - when the park first opened!
Julie maybe? She sang this opening theme: "Walt Disney World, Disney World, Walt Disney World, Disney World, Walt Disney Wooooorld!"
Anybody? |

Apparently this issue was addressed while participants were being sought for WS. I just finished reading Charles Ridgeway's "Spinning the World" and he wrote about one country's problem with just this. Disney had 2 good points. They asked the country's representative (I can't remember which country...China maybe...) if they were going to do a similar themed area in one of their theme parks, how would they represent the US. He thought about it and answered that they would probably use cowboys and/or Chicago style gangsters!
The second point is that if each country was represented by modern cities, all of the pavilions would look the same! |

"It pretty much wipes out everything in its path oh my" "Like a slingshot on steriods" "Faster than you can say ha ha 'Where's my bathing suit'"

| Goofyernmost Sat 3/8/2008 7:29a | Well, I think that if nothing else, the link on #35 proves that Kryssa previously said what Stacy now copies.
Water powered wedgie, etc. Kryssa is the winner hands down and she doesn't sound like she is on Red Bull. Kryssa's fixation on Goofy is disturbing, but, since I am Goofyernmost, I guess that would work in my favor.
Wonder what ever happened to her? |
