I could understand visiting say Florida for this long and seeing family or other sites. But only going to WDW for that time? Aside from the cost, how can someone possibly fill their time by staying that long? Is this length of time just too much? Just curious. |

IT takes that long to see just the theme parks. If you want to go to the water parks, add a couple days more. If you want to do other things, like horseback riding, golf, parasailing, boating, add more time. If you want to do something a second time, add more time. Want to go to a spa? Add more time.
I think you could spend nearly a month in WDW before you exhausted everything. |

For me, it makes my trip more exciting to plan a seven day vacation and schedule what I can within that time frame. Each trip seems to be different because we can never seem to do everything. |

I know there is much more to WDW than the theme and water parks, but to me there is just something less satisfying about a completely sanitized and packaged environment for an entire vacation. |

| sun-n-fun Tue 1/29/2008 5:31a | We stayed 12 days in Aug, only did WDW and it was great. At 108 degrees we were back at the hotel by 3 and had a relaxing afternoon at the pool. Then dinner at CBR or another resrt food court. We'd go back to see a parade or fireworks after dinner. I could have stayed a few more days, just relaxing at the resort more. But more than that would have been too much (and too costly). |

| Liberty Belle Sun 2/24/2008 11:06p | I've just come across this thread, a bit late. On our first trip we stayed for 2 weeks, and have stayed one week each trip since (due to the amount of time we had off, nothing to do with the first experience not being good). We really enjoyed it, and felt like we saw much more of the whole WDW without having to rush. We dined at a few different hotels, spent a fair bit of time at Downtown Disney and did everything we wanted at the theme parks. The 2 trips since, with 7 days each, I've felt less satisfied with what we got done. If I went every year though, I might be happy to stay for a shorter time and just see less each time. |

| Mr X Mon 2/25/2008 1:46a | I've never stayed at the resort for such a long time, but I did live in Kissimmee and we had annual passes for Disney AND Universal plus 2 months to kill once.
At first, it was a lot of fun. We spent lots of time in the parks.
Then, it got old. We were driving down I-4 one day, and I said "want to go to MGM?", "nope", "how about Universal, we're about to pass it?", "no, don't want to", "me neither".
So we just drove home. Didn't go back to the parks at all after that. :p
