The Babies are getting SOOO big! They are 5 and 3! Can you believe it?! Annika has now been to WDW 17 times and Charlie 8 times! We have our big ole trip coming this summer and my dad is looking into buying a condo in the Orlando area, so I see LOTS o' Disney in our future!

When we go we stay 10 days. The first day we rest and visit a hotel we haven't seen. We have dinner there. The next three days we go to the parks. the next day we do laundry and go to downtown disney. Next we go to Universal Next we visit some of our favorite hotels. For the next two days we go to the parks and see the attractions and the last day we get ready to go home. The last day is the saddest of the whole trip.

We are fortunate enough to be going for 15 days in June/July but the first week is at my parents time share at Orange Lake so that only cost $175 to switch from their week to another. The second we are doing a condo through All Star Vacation Homes. We only have a 7 day Disney pass but with the 6 plus options and 2 days for Universal and a couple days to just veg the time will be filled and hopefully not too burned out. Our family consists of me ,DH,DD 22,DS 19,DD 11 and DS 8. We go about every 5 years (although the last time our trip came around we did DLR and 3 weeks in and around CA). As a family we haven't been to WDW since 1997 when our 11 year old was 7 months (I went with the 2 little ones and my parents when my oldest performed with her HS marching band). Last trip was 10 days at Fort Wilderness and we felt like we didnt have enough time but we took a lot of late mornings. I am worried only 7 days for the parks won't be enough. We'll see.

WDW is a very nice and great place for vacations, I am going there on this April but only for seven days,I am also sprised with that fact people are spending two to three weeks on WDW.

Wow! Three weeks???? that does sound a bit extreme, but if you can take the time off and you want to do it, well.... We have stayed a full week twice: 2006 at AKL and 2007 at POFQ. Enjoyed both trips enough to want to go again and stay longer. We were able to do all 4 disney parks plus both waterparks the second time. We went in the less busy time of the year (Sept) so did not have to deal with crowds and long waits, planned our park hopping around our estimate of which park would experience the least volume. Even with the parkhopper and going in Sept., if want to do off-site like Universal and SeaWorld would absolutely need more days. I would love to go for 10-12 days next time, hopefully in 2009.
I am very jealous of all those of you who have stayed for longer than 7 days!
All times are Pacific Time (US)
