I suppose that one could finance a longer stay by staying off property.

We are staying for 16 days in August. We are starting at the Doubletree near Universal's entrance and spending three nights there at a pretty low rate; Sea World, Universal, and Islands of Adventure...then check into Wilderness Lodge for three nights and relax without going into park. We are doing stuff like Hoop De Doo Review and Tea Party's and visiting resorts on property. Then we check into the Port Orleans French Quarter where we are meeting the other 1/2 of our party and spending nine nights park hopping. One reason it was more affordable is that we are splitting the cost of the package with family members for the nine nights so I only had to pay for 1/2 the expenses. So that is how I was able to add the other days on. I am a teacher so I am off all summer and can't wait to spend time in Florida (we have been saving all year).
All times are Pacific Time (US)
