Wed 2/6/2008 2:52p | We are having the best ski conditions in years. Theres some areas that if it stops snowing for the rest of winter they will still be over average for the year. They're worried about flooding come spring though.
Ya Brendan had fun. We really go to the competitions for fun, but since he competed in the Telemark Nationals last year they put him in the elite juniors class. He doesn't have a coach or train, and he still came in 5th on the first night on the grand slalom course. The next day they do a Sprint Classic which is a grand slalom course with a jump in the middle then at the bottom they have to go through a Reipeløkke which is a 360 degree turn and then a cross country skate course to the finish. He did great. He wants to join the Summit County team next year. |

I promise next ski trip Colorado (although my cousin is talking about buying some land in Mont Tremblant and building a ski chalet there, so that may have to be a long term option lol!) |

DH has the same problem with me if that helps ;)
Here's hoping he does well with the Summit team then.. How much telemark competition is there out there? We don't see a great deal (read any) on UK tv. |

Telemark is still up and coming. We have a few events in Colorado plus the Nationals. |
