I have heard both Johnny Depp and Jerry Bruckheimer say they'd be interested in doing another after a break of a few years. I've also heard in other places that Orlando and Keira wouldn't be returning, which doesn't bother me. I quite liked Will and Elizabeth but feel that their story's done IMO.

I see a bit of a problem with waiting a few years before Depp does another one...he's OLD! I know it doesn't come across that much on screen, but he will probably be 50 the next time we see Captain Jack hit the big screen. I know that real pirates get old too, but Jack just doesn't seem like the old type to me. They could always do it James Bond style and keep the actors changing, but that seems like it would be a lot harder to do, since so much of the Pirates name is the actors behind it.

the thing is i'll be sad if will and elizabeth aren't in it. they were oringinal characters and it would be weird without them

>>he will probably be 50 the next time we see Captain Jack hit the big screen<<

But the good thing about Johnny is, he never ages! I think he looks at least 5 years younger than his current age at the moment, so I don't think it should be TOO much of a drama. What would be a drama, for me at least, would be if they changed the actor, because I just can't picture anyone else in that role!

Not unless they got one of the Cm's from Disneyland, because the one we saw on TSI was VERY good.

Scared the bejeebies out of Alex when he pulled his sword on her!

Funny you should say that, xPPx ... as I was writing it I was actually thinking how convincing the Jack I saw at Disneyland was! But still ... Pirates 1-3, starring Johnny Depp! Pirates 4-8, starring Tom the Cast Member! It just doesn't have the same ring to it ;)

I say let Depp do it until he's grey! With all that make-up & hair, who can tell how old Jack is?
