Topic: pirates 4?

51	Kira Fri 4/25/2008 6:49p	It's still early and rumors are bound to float around, but from what I've heard first hand & read is that Disney "has" the release date for a Pirates 4 set in 2011. Still no solid evidence on plots/scripts or anything like that, but it gives those of you who are wondering a bit of hope and something to look forward too =)
52	DJ7K Sat 4/26/2008 1:12a	But it's 3 years away :( I should have known better too thinking it'd be what Answers.com implied, "next summer" as in this summer since I read that last year. Because then I read on that /Film website, it was posted only last May around the same time the 3rd one was released, the statement by Bruckheimer about uncertainty of making another one. Because the time to make another one between now and then, probably wouldn't be long enough for it to be ready by this summer. I was just about to say this sounds like a bigger gap, time frame-wise, in releasing each of the PotC movies, but after the 1st one came out, the 2nd one didn't come out into theaters til 3 years later either. I'm not sure if anyone checked out that link, but I just looked at it again yesterday and there was another one there. There seems to be even more speculation on to what this might be. To go along with what Kira said, theres really no solid evidence on this either, but if it peaks your interest, here it is. 54	JeffG Sat 4/26/2008 1:58p	Disney has made no announcements one way or the other about a 4th film in the franchise. Anything you read on the topic now is simply rumor and/or idle speculation. On something like this, it is important to keep in mind that anyone that actually has any real information is certainly under a non-disclosure agreement. Even if someone with real knowledge did share, it would be very anonymously and extremely difficult to distinguish from something that someone made up. -Jeff
