If I buy tickets to Mickey's Christmas Party, can I go into the park for the day with those tickets? We only have a 10 day pass and 14 days in Orlando, so I thought that might be one way to get into the park and extend our time? Anybody know whether we can do this or not?

Thanks!

Sorry I'm afraid the answer is no, you can't get in until the party starts unless you have another ticket for the day, you just get a wristband for the evening event.

You could perhaps *shock horror* go offsite for a day or so if you have a car??

Oh and yes it's smedley here, I'm having some sign on issues lol!!

As another possibility (that you're no doubt aware of)

We really like to go for a walk around DTD then head down and hire one of the mouse boats to 'cruise' up towards POR, a lovely trip and a fun way to spend an hour or so :)

Thanks guys, we do plan on going off site for a few days, I was just thinking if we did feel like going that one extra day, that may be an option. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to keep busy.

We do plan to rent a car for part of our stay.

Thanks!

Not to be a downer but we didn't feel the Christmas party was worth the price. We went in 2004. It was very crowded (yes, I know, it's WDW) and most of the restaurants were not open during that time. The parade was the same as the holiday parade that runs at DL. If you have kids (we do not) the party might be more fun for you. The fireworks were nice but that's always the case with Disney.

For a bit more per person I'd go to Cirque La Nouba at DTD--everyone would enjoy that. Worth every penny if you haven't been! :-)

For park admission- A party ticket admission begins at 4pm with the party starting at 7

While MVMCP is not my fav hard ticket event it is fun and a great way to see the parks when its less crowded than a normal night. The fireworks and parade are different and the shows are also good.
