| p-n-p06 Tue 2/19/2008 1:35p | We need rental home advice and suggestions for Walt Disney World. We stayed at a Disney property in 2004 but wondered if we could save cost renting off property. WE = 2 adults, 0 children, 0 pets. If any of you have advice and/or suggestions (even if just to point us in the right direction) we would appreciate it so much! We are thinking of going in early September 2008 (9/8-9/12) if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance!! :-D |

If you are willing to go the condo route, Celebrity Resorts in Kissimmee is nice and only about 15 minutes from "The World". |

I did think they were too large for 2 people but didn't know about the condos...good thing I asked here before proceeding! Thanks for the info and recommendation!! |

The deal is that if you stay on property you get free basic dining plan for as many nights as you stay in the resort. Like I said they've offered it for the past couple of years, but no one can promise that it will be offered again this year.
So, if free dining would be a good incentive for you to stay on property keep some flexibility in your plans until late March, early April when Disney will most likely announce the promotion (if they do it all this year). |

I have a six bedroom, 5 bath, Florida room pool and jacusi. It is costing about $350.00 per night and with 11 people in toe it is quite a deal. Very luxurious and nice.
I do not regret this decision. |
