1	dshyates Tue 2/26/2008 10:55a	Does anyone know anything about this film? I found 2 articles that says it is a live action, rumored to be starring Natalie Portman. She plays a colonial British girl abandoned in Hong Kong and when she learns its her destiny to conquer an evil villain she is trained by seven Shaolin Monks in the martial arts. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt04 32355/ http://tinyurl.com/2lzarp

3	cheesybaby Mon 3/3/2008 10:24a	This project is real and has been in development for a few years: East meets west in Snow and the Seven, a retelling of the classic Grimm Brother’s fairy tale 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. Set in 1880s British colonial China, a group of seven Shaolin monks take in a female refugee. Yuen Wo Ping directs the picture which will combine fantasy and martial arts elements. Francis Lawrence is attached to direct. Jet Li is also attached to star.

6	mawnck Tue 4/15/2008 5:15a	I dunno. Sounds like fun to me. Snow White goes back further than the Disney movie, you know. If Natalie Portman comes out and sings "Some Day My Emperor Will Come", I might feel differently.
