Maybe, but you can simply argue most of those indoor attractions just have a higher capacity and push people through faster giving the illusion less people are on them. With the shows, think about it, there are like 5-6 a day, so of course they are going to be full since they build up an audience between shows. Now think about Philharmagic which plays every 10 minutes and why that show gets only a fraction of its seats filled when you're sitting there.

I hear what you are saying, but I honestly doubt that's the problem. If there were ALOT of attractions in the park, then I can see that happening like with DLP. But HKDL is so small and everything feel so compact, its hard to miss the 5-6 little indoor things to do when you spend most of your day circling the park over and over again LOOKING to do stuff. Take a BIG park like TDS where everything is spaced out, nearly 20 of its rides and shows inside in well themed places non-descript places, THEN I can see that happening more. I remember when I took my ex-girlfriend to TDS and she was surprised there were attractions IN the caves in mysterious island, so I see your point. But HKDL size makes it pretty easy not to miss much although I'm sure people might miss maybe an attraction here or there.

But I think its just more to do with a lack of attendance along with high capacity attractions where everything seem so short and not people missing these rides IMO.

So, anyway, back to the topic here. Is one bad review really enough to change your mind on HKDL? Didn't you know that it wasn't up to par before your coworker went? I'm not saying that your decision not to go is wrong, I'm just curious as to why you changed your mind, when it's well publicized that HKDL is missing out on a lot of stuff.

No, not necessarily suppose to send me one, but I DID say to write me to let me know what's going on with everything ;). But no rush, whenever you get time or just like to talk.

ORWEN: Well, I like to talk too, WorldDisney, duckling! And you're so much nicer to talk to than a certain nasty old biddy I happen to know. So, why don't you just talk to ME?!?!

"So, anyway, back to the topic here. Is one bad review really enough to change your mind on HKDL?"

No. I have read my fair share of them here and elsewhere over the past two and a half years. I was planning to go IN SPITE of those bad reviews.

"Didn't you know that it wasn't up to par before your coworker went?"

Yes.

"I'm not saying that your decision not to go is wrong, I'm just curious as to why you changed your mind, when it's well publicized that HKDL is missing out on a lot of stuff."

What changed my mind was, as I said that a complete theme park virgin stated it was pretty much a snooze-fest. She had NO hidden agenda, unlike most of us, whether we admit it or not. She is also one of THE SINCEREST and most guileless people I have EVER met thus her opinion meant more to me. She was genuinely shocked by how little there was to do there. I was also sad for her because, like a lot of Australians she said it was her dream to visit Disneyland. Unfortunately for her, her first time as in HK.

There are other actors why I will not be going via HK now but suffice to say I WILL one day go to this park. It will just be when there are a few more(and hopefully unique)things to see.

**She was genuinely shocked by how little there was to do there.**

It IS rather shocking, considering the prices they charge.

Sadly, it really is pretty much a rip-off right now. And I wouldn't say that about any other Disney park besides WDSP (even DCA, though lacking, is "worth the price" imo).

"Other actors"?

Sorry......no idea what happened there. In my defense, it's been a fourteen hour day and my take away Chinese is not 90 minutes and counting.

NOW 90 minutes.

And even though we don't tip here, the jerk hesitated giving me my change back. Needless to say, I got it!
