Topic: More Disneylands/Disneyworlds?

1	cherna-bog-vmk Sat 3/1/2008 6:06p	Hi guys! I'm back with anotehr topic :-) Do you think Disney will or want Disney to make another DL/DW? If so, where, what lands would they have, and what would you call it? (i.e. Ellaland, Carlosworld, Disneymania, etc.) HUGS AND DISNEY DREAMS KISSES, cherna-bog-vmk
2	FerretAfros Sun 3/2/2008 10:20a	There has been talk of a Disneyland Shanghai for many years, but it looks like they're trying to get Hong Kong Disneyland up to par before they move along with that one. Personally, I think they should stick to the 5 resorts they have right now, but I wouldn't mind if they expanded the ones that they have now.

4	FerretAfros Mon 3/3/2008 8:12p	The only problem with that is that they are currently having trouble filling up the hotel rooms they have in Florida, so they would more than likely be cannibalizing their own product to do it. While there are persistant rumors of Disney building another park in Texas, it's not happening any time soon. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they built a DVC resort similar to the announced (but not built yet) one in Hawaii or the one they have in Hilton Head, SC. It seems to be a safe enough investment that they will probably be popping up in a lot of places across the country (and world) fairly soon.
5	trekkeruss Tue 3/4/2008 7:13a	Texas is not a major tourist destination, so Disney will never build a theme park there.
