How unfortunate, yet at the same time - understandable. I believe I started my subscription at issue #17 if memory serves (I'll have to check when I get home from work) I'm pretty certain it was in the early 90's.

Sadly, I never did pick up a hard copy of the Monsanto House of the Future issue (#12 I think?)- I recently saw one sell on e-bay for about $100.

Whenever an issue of E-Ticket would arrive in the mail I would always put everything else aside and start reading through it right away. It would always brighten my day to unexpectedly find one in my mail box.

E-Ticket will be greatly missed. I'll have to go over to Mickey's of Glendale and see what remains on their "Wall of E-Ticket".

The last issue I received was "Walt's Model Shop" did another issue come out after that?

A farewell issue would be nice.

I stand corrected. I do have the issue after "Walt's Model Shop" which was #45 "Art of Pirates of the Caribbean"

Yes, A farewell issue would be really cool. Either all new material, or a retrospective on the E-Ticket's history.

I actually got an email from Jack today. I had an old email address that I used to renew, and he replied. He said two things: that there will be and issue #46 (the last one), and that the magazine is currently in negotiations for sale. So I guess whomever is buying it will be putting out something with the same title.

A possible issue #46 is great news. Thanks ghoofie.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope that whoever is negotiating the title will carry on in the same tradition of upbeat, well researched articles.

E-Ticket was always a "happy read" and that's just one small part of the formula that made it enjoyable.

It's the same reason I visit everyday:

It's a shame that something like Hannah Montana has a bigger following than Jesus and the E-Ticket sits unsold on the Disneyana counter.

Ray Bradbury said that he thinks Walt is immortal because his memory lives on forever or something like that. BS, no one's thinking about Walt anymore.

The E-Ticket was one of the last of a dying breed.

Some of us still remember Walt. Some still believe.
