Spokker - Spirit and TDLFAN are both excellent attributes to this site (or were). Lp is not just another forum. For many of us, these folks are an extension of family and some of our best friends. To judge so harshly and quickly demonstrates to me that you do not understand yet what makes Lp so special. |

Actually, to some of us this is. We just spent a week with 42 of our best friends from LP.
And our best friends here in the UK are LPers.
And a number of our close friends in florida and the far east are also LPers. So speak for yourself. For some us LP is a portal for talking to our real friends. |

Sadly, that was the general tone that every discussion devolved into with this poster. This thread is essentially following the same trend of every other discussion that Spirit has been involved in. It's actually been sort of nice not having to deal with that for the past couple of months, in my opinion. I think the discussions have been a lot more focused on Disney and a lot less focused on individual warped personalities lately. It's been kinda nice. |

Agreed 100%.
Online chat is not a priority. And once it takes away from your "real life" then it becomes destructive.
For that simple reason - TDLFAN has choosen to reduce his online time and focus on ONE discussion board. Go to Micechat.
I still enjoy reading LP and Micechat but my "real life" comes first.
My main driver for reading LP is to gain insight from the talent responsible for the decision making of the attractions we get to experience. And reading SPIRIT's posts - he has a wonderful way of expressing the thought process of the theme park designs and TDL complements by actually SHOWING the results of the new additions and decisions.
I find it all fascinating and enjoy speculating on the up-and-coming additions.
There is no excuse for "mean" discussion - ever ...
