Everything has been friendly and nice, but not very thought provoking. I'm glad the Spirit is still alive and hope it will eventually come around to posting here frequently again. |

There's been plenty of thought provoking discussion -- just not the polarizing kind of discussions. And it's been great to not have to deal with the daily cult of personality discussions where we recite the names in the Disney management org chart ad nauseum and try to paint everyone into the corner of being hero or villain. |

Sat 3/8/2008 8:52a | It seems to me what we have now is more a statement of feelings concerining a topic, as opposed to the actual discussion and argument of the ideas behind it. One's not better than the other, but I certainly find the latter more interesting. |

Sat 3/8/2008 9:01a | The last 2 nights, I didn't even check-in to LP. It use to be I'd hurry to do so as soon as I got home from work, just to see what Spirit and others had stirred up. Much better than TV! I guess I kinda became obsessed with LP too. And what ever happened to MPierce? He's another I've enjoyed reading. I've come to think of so many LPers as family or friends, with a few black sheep thrown in. |

Like most situations in "real" life, you have to take the bad with the good.
While some of Spirit and TDLFAN's info, insight and opinions will be missed, the drama and attitude associated with some of their contributions won't be IMO. This same thing could be said about others here, so I'm not singling(doubling?) them out.
Just let them ride off into the LP sunset peacefully. Asking "why?" and calling for their return just provokes all the mixed opinions to come out(as already evident), just like their contributions to LP use to. JMO. |
