To Spirit, and to TDLFAN, I've been around for a while and I liked reading your post. Some things I would say wow to, but I belibe that we all should voice our opinion. What is what makes this place great. All of the nasty things being said is childish.
Thoses of us who have been here wanted to let two posters know that they were missed became somthing else. And for that Spirit and TDLFAN I'm sorry. Maybe that is why you two left in the first place.
So, What I would like to say to Spirit and TDLFAN... I miss you guys and hope that you two are well. Take care and maybe you will come back.

Spokker slammed the Spirit and TDLFAN. I in turn slammed Spokker. I perhaps wasn't very nice and maybe violated LP rules just a teensy bit. Spokker had it coming though. I took one for the team (LP).

Sorry, I'm late to this thread. I'm still around, although this is my busy season and time is somewhat limited.
As to the boys and the drama, I think a bit of drama is a healthy thing. I don't like red-faced screaming matches, but I do enjoy a spirited discussion. I know I went head to head with both Spirit and TDLFAN back in the early days, and only grudgingly built up a 2-way respect. But I sure was interested to log in and read the latest riposte.
I've been told that Spirit got his feelings hurt when he posted some type of benefit information and it wasn't taken seriously (or at least people didn't seem to flock to his flag on the subject). Whether that's true or not is up for grabs. I hadn't heard till this thread that TDLFAN had exited, as he's still active on Micechat. I do hope they calm down and come back someday. These forums can get a little boring when all we're doing is analyzing someone's trip schedule or tearing down whatever plans Disney has for a new ride or park or area.

Spirit started a thread regarding the child of a CM who needed help and when very few people posted he lamented the fact that no one cared about important, real world issues yet a thread regarding some Disney detail he started could rumble on and on.
He had a very good point!!! |

I know that sounds calloused, but I simply don't want to be inundated with requests for money or whatever, any more than any of us want those phone calls coming to our homes. I'm sorry that the Spirit was hurt by that, but I shouldn't be made to feel bad because I didn't jump on someone else's bandwagon.

Even in Minnesota we have crap like that happen.
I really miss the Spirit and wish he would come back.
But if he is staying away because of lack of response to that post, that is a mistake as far as I'm concerned.
