I didn't know where to post this.

If you're like me, you might have given up on the Disney Chanel, but right now there showing Lilo & Stich.

I know I wouldn't mind a heads up when something good finally airs, so I'm just passing it along. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I will.

We have it on DVD, but there's something special about watching it on TV. :)

The girls have it on, but they've fallen asleep on the couch.

It's times like tonight that I really wish we got Disney Channel here. For whatever reason, we don't get it, but we get every obscure arts channel known to man. I had to settle for watching "Bring It On" on ABC Family (which usually has surprisingly good content these days), followed by aimless channel surfing.

Ahh - I watched funniest commercials 2007 - better than most - but didn't realize L&S was on

Yeah, just wait till you see Brenda Hampton's new show about the sex lives of teenagers. I kid you not.

ABC Family has completely lost sight of their demographic, and is looking to do whatever it takes to get "edgy" for bigger ratings. They're made it known they're also actively looking for adult-oriented animated fare, ala FAMILY GUY.

That ain't "Disney" to me.

But they don't call it ABC Disney. ;-)

Point taken, but it's not very "family" during primetime or later, anymore.

Just kind of sad.

They're required to keep the word "Family" in the name of the channel for all eternity - that was the deal when they bought it from the 700 Club. If they attempt to remove it, the Club gets the channel back.

It's yet another legacy of the brilliant stewardship and negotiating skills of Mr. Eisner. They've been trying to find some way around this clause since shortly after the deal was originally made. Apparently they haven't yet. Obviously they're not letting it stand in the way of programming decisions, but there it is.

But hey ... "FAMILY" Guy? Sort of works. Sucks, but works. Maybe they can call it the ABC Family Guy Channel, thus problem solved.

And tune in next week for a documentary about the Manson Family. (The ABC Manson Family Channel?)

For what it's worth, The Incredibles is just ending on the east coast, so it should be starting outthere in a little bit!
