Great pictures Dave. And yes, it was so enjoyable for those of us on this side of the Atlantic as well. Wonderful memories.

Sea World Pictures:
We went to Sea World and had a blast. There were not many shows on, so we had to prioritise them. But they were fantastic as always. Also, this was our first time on Atlantis here. It was a lot of fun, but it felt somewhat lacking, this is one of the few attractions that we do think is better in Florida.
Mikey freaked out over the Penguins. He fell in love with them so much that we paid 3 visits.
Also the Polar Bears were 1st rate in their actiity. Feeding the Sea Lions was very cool too.
And the BBQ food at Sea World was first rate. We had a great day. Love it, love it, love it!

Wow, Dave your quite the talent with a camera! This makes me want to go visiting in my own backyard. Thanks for sharing. Did you eat in the pink dining room at the madonna inn? When we visited we ate in the cafe because it was so pink I lost my appetite. LOL we did sneak my mother in law into the mens bathroom to see the urinal though, everyone should see that!

you paid for 3 seperate visits to Sea World?
Why didn't you just upgrade to the Fun Card? $10 more (more or less) and unlimited use (except like, 2 blackouts a year, but those are during the summer).
I'm really enjoying reading your trip reports, Dave! I'm saving the pics, though, since I'm *suppposed* to be working on Homework :)

Thanks guys. We ate in the coffee shop, I don't think we could cope with the pink room.
Sarah chickened out of going into the men's room, but I did at least take the pics.

xPPx - we were tempted by fun cards, but I had a $12 off each coupon, not good on fun cards. The savings seemed worth it, especially as we are unlikely to make it back within a year (though now I am seriously rethinking that position).

:) Fun Cards are going to be our savior this summer. Our DLAPs are expiring, so Sea World will get us through the summer until we can get back to DL in October for the girls' birthdays.
So sad we couldn't have met up with you at Sea World. My girls love it almost as much as Disneyland!

It was a bit of a bummer, but sadly we had limited connectivity and had to be fluid due to the unpredictable weather/kid behaviour. As it is on the Tuesday we threw out going to the Gene Autry Museum because the kids were quiet. We instead opted to hang out at the resort, swim and watch TV.

Ooops, I meant the kids needed a quiet day.
