It is really fun to see places I go through someone else's eyes. I love that you know the Madonna Inn! I have a few glasses in various colors that they sell. I love it!
Tell Sarah that I did go in the men's room there...I sent in DH first, though. There was a group of senior ladies waiting outside of the men's room for an escort, so I loaned them my husband. Their faces were just silly (and crimson) when they came out.
I can't wait to read more!

Did someone mention Ghiradelli!

As I said, I am sure that between UKFAN and myself, we can ensure you have an awesome time in London. |

| 999HAUNTS Mon 3/10/2008 10:25a | Dave, what a great report!
I was looking at all of your wonderful pictures and noticed that you and PB have sort of the same eye for photography. That again proves your Ness. (She also loves looking at the architecture and skylines and she also has a fantabulous way of capturing it all, just as you do.) Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us. Well done!
Also, I was wondering if you and Sarah would adopt me? I love to travel and can't afford to do so as much as I'd like, and you folks know how to really take it all in. LOL!!
*footnote: We took a roadtrip in 2003 through Monterrey / Cannery row and surroundings. We also thought it touristy, so I'm glad I wasn't the only one with that opinion.

| sarahwithbaloo Mon 3/10/2008 12:48p | Thanks everyone.
I have been doing alot of reading of different threads since our return home but not trusted myself to make much sense if I typed. (Those few people I have mailed could probably very much understand what I mean)
I do'nt doubt that we would be over the jet lag sooner if the children did not try to get up for the day at midnight/1am each night also Mikey was unwell last night (Over tired I think)
Well not much for me to to say that Dave has not already we had such a good time and it was soooo good to meet everyone.
November 2009 then (maybe) watch the meet threads guys. |

| davewasbaloo Mon 3/10/2008 1:00p | Thanks Haunts, I would be happy to adopt you as a Sister. You make us a little jealous at times with some of the awesomeness of your experiences.
Ursula, although I am exhausted and going to get an early night, I will post one more update for you today.
Jonvn - thank you for your very kind comments. We did indeed have a great time, and I feel very blessed to have my family. |
