Office 2007 is great, much better than its predecessors. It is quite spendy though, which is why I am happy I got a legal copy for 20 dollars. For that price it's well worth it.

I prefer Office 2007 and use it with Outlook as well as a few other MS programs.

I don't really understand the opposition to MS. I have an iMac, and a MacBook. (But I mostly use a Dell XPS laptop)...anyway, on the MacBook, thanks to the very nice and improved Bootcamp in Leopard, I also run Windows XP. I can boot to either OS and HONESTLY, Windows runs as well on this MacBook as it does anywhere.

I sort of float between the two depending on my needs.

In spite of this, my pet peave is getting something that I have to tinker with or tweak to get the result I want. I want things to simply work on the first try. It's worth the extra $ to me. That's what I love about my iPhone. Sure I could get something cheaper, but it simply works, the first time, like a charm, the way it is supposed to.
