I need some help, I've read on two sites two different info. On allears it is said to be an counter service and no charature meal. Disney has it as a charature meal(sorry I don't spell well)and a table service. Which is it and doesw it take two dining points for the plan or just one? Is the food good? it was said to be a buffet, is that right?

Please help.
:)

I know that it was reported that the restaurant would be changed from a counter service location to a buffet; I don't know when or if it has already changed. Tusker House has always been a favorite of mine; it is/was perhaps my favorite counter service restaurant in WDW.

Thank you...maybe Disney's site is more updated.. which suprises me the Deb's site wouldn't be. Maybe it's just the reaturants that are not updated.

Deb usually is up to date, but I believe in this instance that Tusker House is now operating as a sit down venue, and that this is where they have the character breakfast in the morning, not sure on points, but I would expect it to be one dining point the same as the other character meals.

Thank you that helped alot. I was going to go to the new Yak and Yeti but I think I will do the Tusker House for dinner instead.

I read that a guest got really sick after eating at Yak and Yeti I'm just scared of that.

I also thought Tusker house was going to be part counter serivce buffet. When we were there in feb, there was a line for Check in. It seemed confusing so we didn't even go check it out. We did the counter service at YandY instead. It was Ok and we are glad we tried it, but probably won't do it again for a while. (unless we do the sit down part)

I recently ate at the Tusker House about two weeks ago. It was One table Service meal weather you had Character. or not. It was a very good dining experience and if you absolutly love Mickey and Friends...then this is awsome.

I've eaten at Y&Y 6 times and never got sick and I stopped eating at church potlucks 'cause I would get sick at those too often so I don't have the strongest stomach.

However with that said, I don't want to discourage you from trying the Tusker House buffet either. It is really yummy, too.

Since Y & Y has only been open for a short while, I think your having 6 meals there is a great recomendation!
