64	u k fan Fri 3/14/2008 6:42a	Smedley, my aim is to split my time between an onsite Disney hotel and somewhere slightly less grand! The Marriott looked pretty good in Dave's trip report though. To misquote Jerry Maguire "You had me at S'mores"!!!
65	smedley Fri 3/14/2008 7:10a	uk fan, because we're going for 3 weeks, and plan on flying into SF and then travelling around a little before ending up at DL, we're likely to be staying at at least 5 different places before we get to DL, so we're just going to stay put once we're there LOL! Plan is to stay in a Disney view room at Hojos.

67	u k fan Fri 3/14/2008 8:00a	Smedley, our plans are very similar, but I can't imagine not staying at a Disney hotel for at least a night or two. Sadly, I'm not sure the budget will stretch to the whole of our stay though hence the twin centre thing!!!
68	LuLu Fri 3/14/2008 8:38a	The Marriott sounded quite spendy - tho you could possibly accommodate 2 groups there, and/or save on meals by cooking. 999, I'm looking forward to what you find out about group meals. My limited experience tells me they're quite pricey. It annoys me that when they get a guaranteed group of paying customers, they charge MORE than regular restaurant prices. I hope you find something promising! Coincidentally, I've been starting some research off-property for a "Big Meet" not too far from this time frame, but I'm afraid your "International Meet" will trump our plans. The early bird gets the worm! :-D
69	smedley Fri 3/14/2008 8:55a	Sorry Lulu!! UK Fan, this is the difference between us I guess, I am not in any way concerned by staying on-site, especially when off-site is within walking distance.. Oh and that's why I wanted to ask Dave about costs Lulu, the marriott would only be an option if it wasn't too spendy LOL
